Aluminum Treatment Solutions
In-Line Degasser
In-Line Degasser
We design degassing systems, both in-line and batch, aimed at removing dissolved gases and impurities from molten metal. The process involves the introduction of inert gases through systems specifically designed to finely disperse the gas within the liquid alloy, promoting the removal of hydrogen and other inclusions.
The degassing unit ensures a perfect and customized preparation of the molten metal for the subsequent stages of the production process by combining both the degassing action and metallurgical treatment. This is achieved through the full automation of the process for safety and the use of specialized devices (rods, rotors, anti-vortex fins) and state-of-the-art chemical products (fluxing agents, refining agents, etc.).
Filtration of Aluminum and Its Alloys
Filtration of Aluminum and Its Alloys
Metallurgical treatments of molten metal, such as degassing and filtration, are essential steps to achieve the quality standards demanded by the market.
In particular, high and consistent metal filtration to remove unwanted inclusions is achieved through automated systems that ensure precise and controlled temperature management of both the filters and the filtration basin—during both the preheating phase and the metal transfer process.
Casting Line Automation
Casting Line Automation
We implement automated solutions for casting lines, solutions for dosing and managing metal flows with dedicated level sensors.
Here are the key features of the system:
-
Integrated automation with PLC and Panel PC for plant supervision.
-
Furnace handling with proportional solenoid valves and feedback from an inclinometer.
-
High-resolution laser sensors for measuring the metal level in transfer channels.
-
Pneumatically controlled partitions to manage metal flow from different furnaces to the casting machines.
Injection of Purification Agents
Injection of Purification Agents
The injection of chemical flows is an essential phase in the treatment of molten aluminum. It allows, through the use of inert gases (argon, nitrogen) and dedicated chemicals injected directly into the liquid bath via special lance systems, both the removal of suspended impurities and unwanted elements (Ca, Na, Mg), and the cleaning of the furnace walls.
All systems are particularly useful to foundries that need to improve product quality, with particular reference to the requirements of specific markets such as automotive or aerospace.
where metal purity is essential.
